ON MONDAY, WEST HAM UNITED AND SHEFFIELD UNITED ENDED THEIR BITTER 2 YEAR ROW OVER THE LEGALITY OF THEIR SIGNING OF ARGENTINE STRIKER CARLOS TEVEZ BY AGREEING AN OUT OF COURT SETTLEMENT WHERE THE CHAMPIONSHIP CLUB WILL RECIEVE WHAT IS RUMOURED TO BE BETWEEN £15-£20MILLION IN COMPENSATION FROM WEST HAM TO BE PAID IN INSTALMENTS OVER 5 YEARS.
But it seems that it is not over yet, just because the clubs have come to an agreement, it wont stop individuals themselves making their own compensation claims, and the first to go public with his intention to do so is former manager Neil Warnock, now at Crystal Palace. |
