It's a tricky one BBT. As I think I said previously, you have to look at the challenge, not the outcome. Studs raised? Tick. Two footed? Tick. Airbourne? Tick. Guarantee you City will get nowhere with their appeal.
I do agree with you on inconsistencies of some refs. Giggs did the exact same thing against us last week and Webb just about gave a free.
And they haven't. 4 match ban.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/16492841.stm4 match ban for winning the ball cleanly - fuck me

It's almost 5 games actually, considering he was sent off in the 12th minute of the game.

I watched about five minutes, saw Barca equalize and then there were a few fouls including one *by* a Barca player who then waved an imaginary card in the face of the ref to say not only should it have been a foul the other way round but it should have been a yellow too. Annoying.

I remember the times when the only live football on TV was shitty FA Cup ties on ITV so to be able to watch a live El Classico match on a Wednesday night in January is nothing short of sensational. And in stunning HD on a 40" LED, with home cinema surround and sometimes even in 3D
Some of you lot don't know your'e born
As for the football, it was typical Barcelona. They recovered from the early goal to get a stranglehold on the game with Iniesta and to a lesser degree, Xavi running the show. And yes, once Barcelona equalised the Madrid antics got worse with Pepe being the main culprit. Expect him to be in big bother for cowardly stamping on Messi's hand. Madrid just sat back and couldn't even hold onto the ball for more than two passes for the whole second half.
Barcelona owned them with 70% possession.

I think their problem is that they've been outmuscled by their competitors at the top of the premier league, both physically and financially. Having an English manager wouldn't make a difference to that.

Yeah you're right, but maybe it's time for a change. Wenger hasn't won anything for the last 8 or so years.
I think Chelsea will get eliminated too by Birmingham, leaving only Liverpool and Tottenham as serious contenders for the cup. If Liverpool win both the League and the FA Cup and we finish behind them at 7th, will we qualify for Europe?
