What's the difference between FM Live and FM playing via the actual existing games?

Surely you can play online already..What's so special about Live?

Also anyone interested, SI have a FM2009 features video on YouTube, explains and shows some of the new features quite nicely.

Best part for me will be the 3D match engine so you actually see players who look like the real ones instead of little circles with numbers in.

I skipped last years game because the demo didnt appeal to me, but Ill be getting this years one no doubt, whether I can find time in between my PS3 and School Work is another matter, but I'll find some way to multitask them all or something.

The demo's out on the 2nd. Finally be able to see if it's better than Fifa manager

Downloaded it last night. Quite good, pretty much the same as last year in terms of appearence and layout. Press conference stuff is pretty wierd, but funny to storm out. Newcastle are pretty shite too.

14th this month they claim.

I hope they let you choose player run paths better mind, just up and down is shit.

The thing was that most tactics were more successful if they had as many arrows as possible. Obviously it would be preferable if you could at least run side ways or run further than the nearest position but it certainly makes the game more challenging.

The language thing is starting to annoy me though. Up to November on my Newcastle game, Jonas and Colo still haven't picked up any English.

It's a lot harder than last years though. I'm glad Newcastle have low expectations or I'd have been sacked my now

Well, I bought the game today at 5 pm.

It's now 8.45 and I've still not been able to play it 'cause of the fucking shite it puts you through 'cause of the activation code.

So instead of playing the game, I've been contstantly retrying to connect to a server which is "too busy".

Surely the stupid fucks at SI would've realised this is gonna be a popular game, and should have made way for a larger fucking server.

I went to 4 different places today, and they had all sold out

So went or a round of golf instead.

Got it, playing it, drew with chelsea at home 1-1 first home game of the season. Now I travel to Man Ure and Liverpool away....fucking great start to the season

I got it today, took about an hour to download as I had to sign up through some 'Steam' thing. I also have to go through this Steam program, there is no shortcut on my desktop, not even a FM09 file on the Start menu. Anyone else had this?

What a load of shite. My computer is pretty quick, but this takes about 30 mins for it to load. Then when it gets to the games, they take about 30 mins to play. errrgggghhh. Anyone else having this?

Darren Bent, I traded Michael Owen for him and so far he's scored 15 goals and set up 2. Works well with Martins who has 14 goals and 13 assists

I bought a striker called Hulk, 21 brazillian. Hes pretty good so far, scores loads for me, bought him for backup, but decided to replace him for owen because he annoyed me by not signing a new contract.
