Bernie Ecclestones phones going to be very busy. Everybody knew that it rains at 5pm. Yet the greedy F1 boss thought he knew other wise and moved the time for television reasons and got shown to be a idiot.

If Bernie really is to blame for the change in race times this season, it's about time he was driven out of F1. Races have been around in Australia, Malaysia for years and it's never been a major problem to F1 viewers in Europe, to start putting drivers safety at risk by putting viewing figures first is unreasonable. What I can't understand about the Malaysian grand prix is that if 7am BST was acceptable last week in Australia then Malaysia could have started 3 hours earlier (2pm local time) and we would have had a full race to watch. He can't use an excuse of you can't predict the weather, as it has been said they have those downpours almost everyday at that time.

Totally agree happy.gif

I remember the last time Bernie, Max and the FIA changed the rules in order to spice up the show and cater for the european audiences, that ended up with both Roland Ratzenberger AND Ayrton Senna dead.

That silver haired git has been fleecing money away from F1 for far too long now, he simply has to go, and Max Mosley can get lost too, bring in a new FIA President that actually knows about racing.

What did they change?

The race start times to early evenings in the Asian countries to cater for European audiences. happy.gif

Which is pointless, as in my view one of the best experiences is getting up at 3am to watch races

In the race that Senna died did they change the time
