Hmm, like I say Yella what the 4th official holds up is a minimum - at the end of the day you play until the ref blows his whistle.

In all honesty the way Citeh defended they deserved nowt not that some of Man U's was great.

Just ask Rio Ferdinand, what the fuck was he thinking?

Good thing im not a Man U fan cos i had a right good giggle at that laugh.gif

God knows mate, that was shocking - i wouldnt expect to see that in Sunday League, obviously hadnt had his pre match "medication" (apparently) laugh.gif

Citehs defending was appaling all game though, they should really have lost quite comprehensively.

Isnt that why Given left us, so he could get away from that palava? If he wanted to play with a better defence that, he should have stayed laugh.gif

No I believe he left because someone offered him a shit load of cash tongue.gif

Lescott certainly didnt do anything today to make me change my opinion that he aint worth 24 pence laugh.gif

It was a good game with great goals but was ridden with errors.

How a team can get away with the mistakes that Foster and Ferdinand made and yet still win... Oh wait, it was Manure... 96th minute goal from Owen I believe? doh.gif

The thing is they were two individual errors, Man Citeh just look generally dodgy at the back. Man U looked like scoring in every attack.

If Citeh are gonna do anything this season then they are either gonna need to shore that up or make sure they score plenty of goals down the other end.

Well they've had 3 clean sheets from 5 games and only conceded against Arsenal & Man Utd, I'd say that's not too much to worry about just yet.

Absolutely, especially if they aspire to win trophies and championships, they have to go to places like Old Trafford and take points, especially if they want to send out a warning to the rest of the footballing world

Thats the expectation that comes with spending more than £200million on players in little over a year but as we've proved on many occasions and also Leeds too, spenidng shitpiles of money does not guarantee success

Saw this game and the Chelsea game.
Even this early in the season it's looking like a two horse race, but somehow there's a big difference between these two teams.
There's a certain magic about ManU and it's always exciting watching their games.
Chelsea play as a highly efficient footballing machine, but where's the magic?

Looking forward to us finishing 21st this season.

Can't believe Pompey have allowed Paul Hart to recruit an assistant - what the fuck difference will that make?? He's useless, absolutely useless.

Tell you what, mind. Is it me, or is Steve Bruce getting better? I'm wondering if we might regret not having installed him, even though I was at the forefront of those saying he shouldn't be brought in. He'll never manage us now, of course, for good or ill, as it's Old Trafford next for the bloke. Which brings me on to something I find remarkably odd - out of everyone in the World, what compels chairmen to employ geordies to manage mackems, Man U legends to manage Citeh, Chelsea legends to manage West Ham...etc. Football is stupid.

Sir Alex probably left the ref a nice bottle of champers in the dressing room as a sort of thank you

Seriously, even though its Sunderland, i would feel the same, cheated, your performance deserved a win, no question.
