Haye weighs in at 15st 8lbs and Valuev 22st 8lbs.
Love to see Haye win, but think it will be Valuev in 5.

I've gone from loving the boxing when I was a kid growing up watching Leonard, Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Curry, Honeyghan, McGuigan, Tyson and a few others but now I couldn't give a shit.
I watched Eubank put Watson in a wheelchair and Benn do the same to McClellan.
Horrible sport.

Cage fighting is even worse, really can't see the point of it (and the crowd egging the fighters on is barbaric).

Would love to watch this one but Sky can p!$$ off if they think i'm going to pay £15 for it, Haye has achieved nothing yet so where do they get off charging so much, no doubt if they charged a more reasonable £10 they'd have got far more viewers.

I won't be paying it either.
Just watched the first round of the (in)famous Benn v McClellan fight (haven't seen it since watching it live in 1995). Totally feking gruesome

Well in my opinion, Haye just does not know what he's got himself in for.
That Valuev reminds me a lot of that guy in Rocky 4 when he described Ivan Drago "whatever he hits, he destroys"
And thats what i think'll happen on Saturday, i'll be amazed if Haye lasts beyond the 5th

Valuev probably shading it after the 8th. Valuev is very clumsy, but I reckon Haye will let his guard down before the end of the fight and Valuev will do some damage.

Aye but Haye fought negatively for 7/8 rounds. Landed good punches though, but I thought Valuev shaded it overall.
Again, was a dreadful fight.

True, it might take another viewing of it to fully understand why Haye won it, it wasn't pretty.
Haye did land good punches and that i think is why the judges have given him the win, that is whats needed to win in the amateur form
Any bets on him fighting one of the Klitschko brothers next?

Any bets on him fighting one of the Klitschko brothers next?He won't be wasting his time hanging about thats for sure. Great fight for a boxing fan, quite boring for the neutral (according to my uncle). I thought Valuev shaded it but only just. I was worried the biased judges would give it to Valuev by a wide margin. Holyfield dominated Valuev in his last fight and lost, and compared to him, Haye didn't do much at all in terms of offence. However, glad he came out on top. He's a no nonsense operator and British and World boxing needs more people like him and Carl Froch.
For those neutrals who thought it was quite boring, watch a real right next week when MANNY PACQUIAO takes on MIGUEL COTTO. That one should be cracker. In the early hours of Sunday morning, on Sky Sports.

Haven't seen the fight so hard to comment, but listened on 5 live and all 4 had Haye, 3 of them had said 116-112 and 1 had it 115-113. Boxing can normally be deceiving, while it seems one boxer is on the back foot the other may not be getting many scoring shots in.

There's been lots said today about the TV commentary, compared to 5Live commentary. TV was very negative towards Haye saying he isn't doing enough and 5Live was saying he is doing exactly what he needed. Seems to be a lot of mixed views on the fight as a result of that...
