Nick Heidfeld sacked by Renault and replaced by Bruno Senna.
Cant say im not suprised, Heidfeld has been extremely below par being consistently outqualified and outpaced by Petrov
Plus aren't Renault strapped for cash and rather than pay Heidfeld a wage Senna will bring in extra sponsorship money? Think I read something like that earlier.
Senna aready brought in the sponsorship money from Embratel when he signed as a reserve driver, the change is purely on performance grounds

This might take some getting used too, next season THREE teams will race under different names
RENAULT to become LOTUS: After the team being bought out by the Proton group last year, the team now will be renamed LOTUS (Proton own the brand), GENII Capital keep their shareholding and will continue running the day to day operations
TEAM LOTUS to become CATERHAM: The current Lotus team owned by QPR owner Tony Fernandes after buying the rights off David Hunt, after Proton invested in Renault Fernandes has decided to rebrand his team after the car company he bought this summer, that means a first apprearance in F1 of the famous builders of the Lotus Seven car
VIRGIN RACING to become MARUSSIA: The Russian sportscar company increasing their involvement in the team after buying a shareholding in it at the beginning of the year. British outfit Manor Motorsport will still run the team while Richard Branson's Virgin Group will stay on as sponsors and major investors
Plus Luca di montezemolo is still acting like a first class pillock

Yep, They'll still be engine suppliers to Red Bull, Lotus and Caterham next season and they've also signed a new engine supply deal with Williams, yep that famous partnership that won world titles for Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill as well as a shit-ton of constructors titles is back
Thats when Williams then were like Red Bull now, big similarity is the guy who designed the cars for both teams in those era's

This could be a sensation, for the first time in 20 years, a Woman driver could be employed by an F1 team, the article is all in Spanish but it basically says that a deal is close for Renault to confirm the Spanish female Maria de Villota as their reserve driver for 2012
http://www.as.com/motor/articulo/solo-falt...dasdaimot_3/TesOther F1 Women
Maria Teresa de Filipis (ITA) 1958-59: Drove a privately entered Maserati and a Behra, failed to qualify in 4 of her 5 attempts but finished 10th in her only start in Belgium 1958
Lella Lombardi (ITA) 1974-76: Drove for a multitude of lower ranked teams for 3 years but made history in 1975 by becoming the only female driver to score a world championship points finish, she finished 6th in a drasically shortened Spanish GP that year scoring half a point
Divina Galica (GBR) 1978: The last female driver to earn a contract with a works team on merit driving for the Hesketh team in 1978, failed to qualify on both occasions before the team folded, had more success in the British F1 Series
Desire Wilson (RSA) 1980: The only woman ever to WIN an F1 event, albeit a non championship event at Brands Hatch in a privately owned Wolf, failed to qualify for the 1980 British GP in her only world championship appearance
Giovanna Amati (ITA) 1992: Bought a seat at Brabham in 1992 thanks to her wealthy husband at the time, none other than Flavio Briatore, failed to qualify on all 3 occasions before she was promptly fired and replaced by a certain Damon Hill

LAUNCHED YESTERDAY: Caterham Renault CT-01

It's already been nicknamed "The Platypus" because of its ugly nose shape but this is because of the new regulations regarding the height of the nosecone, other changes incluse the new exhaust regulations which have come about because of the blown diffuser ban (because of this, they now pop out above the rear suspension) and a slightly bulkier rear casing because they are now running KERS after gaining permission to use Red Bull's system and gearbox
Liverywise I think its drop-dead gorgeous, in my opinion, this team have had the best looking cars in terms of the livery for the last 3 years

Lewis Hamilton got pole with a brilliant lap but he ran out of fuel on his way back to the pits, this is illegal and as a result, instead of pole, he will start in 24th, dead last. This gives a first Pole Position to the Williams of Pastor Maldonado
Of all the times Hamilton has felt he has been hard done to by the stewards I can't believe more wasn't said about this, it was a disgrace of a decision. Punish him fair enough, but surely just removing that timed lap would have been the right decision putting him 6th on the grid, even a 5 place grid drop also putting him 6th they could have give him or even just disqualifying him from Q3 putting him 10th. Not sure how they have deemed that so serious to put him to the back of the grid, I can only presume with the race being held in a place where Hamilton is hated so much has influenced this decision.

Disagree. It's a well known rule that you have to have enough fuel to get back to the pits, otherwise it's cheating.
