Devastating that, this could be over quite quickly, considering he had a point taken off, he gets that one 9-8 i think

I fucking hate boxing, it is the most sickening mainstream sport there is.
I used to love the boxing when I was growing up but now I cannot stand it. The aficiondos will come out with the craic about the fighters making their own decisions when they step into the ring but it still sickens me when I come across it on Sky Sport News.
I watched Eubank put Watson in a wheelchair and Benn blind McClellan and also put him in a wheelchair. I went to the Skunk Arena to see Benn lose to Malinga and I doubt I've ever been so shocked watching a sport. The speed and power was fucking incredible and I was disappointed in myself for paying to watch the brutality.

You are getting old, Gala, but I totally agree with you. I did enjoy it when I was a lot younger but now when I see the crowd baying for blood, I think how would they individually like to be in the ring getting leathered? Boxers are like soldiers......brave? stupid? Well, it sure wouldn't be me being either.

What a pussy

You need to man up a bit, i'd suggest UFC, that is far more barbaric than boxing, which is just a sport for little girls in comparison.
For me, the beauty in all sports like this is the amount of effort that goes into the training for what is only 30 minutes of sport (less in UFC).
For Haye and Harrison, i could actually see Audley ending up in hospital, the fight is that much of a mismatch, there is no way he would of even got a shot at Haye now if he they weren't both English.
This will be Harrisons final fight.

My concerns are that this fight is such a mismatch that its not even a real fight and is just a con to get 2 British heavyweights in the ring together.
The up and coming champion against the villain who the public love to hate.
Aside from a lucky shot landing, Harrison isn't in the same league as Haye and doesn't have a chance and i'm pretty certain that everyone in the boxing world, including both fighters, know it, this is just a money making scam, thats all it is.
In fact, i'm pretty sure that Harrison isn't even in the top 20 heavyweight boxers in the world right now, so why is this fight even happening other than for the big pay day for the pair.
Boxing is a joke really.

I would'nt say 2 average boxers, more like one decent boxer against one overrated douchebag living of an olympic gold medal and a career saving punch agaisnt Michael Sprott. Pople are comparing this to Eubank's fight against Benn just based on the link that they hate each other's guts, only difference is Eubank v Benn was evenly matched, you could never pick a winner out of it whereas Haye v Harrison has the potential to be one of the biggest mis-matches ever.
Im going for David Haye to floor Audley in the 6th round and then David will get the fight he really wants, against one of the Kitschko brothers.

Well Fraudley certaily has his pension off the back of this, £1.5 million for less than 9 minutes and not even throwing a punch. Let's hope this is the last we've seen of this joker, his career from the start has been an utter joke and should never have lasted this long.

Absolutely. Hopefully that is the end of this clown's career, uite possibly one of the most overrated and overhyped boxers i've ever known.
All along, I always thought that Haye gave the impression in the build up that this was just a waste of his time., and tongiht proved it, Haye was a class above and Harrison was as I expected, pathetic.
Now Haye can hopefully get that fight against Vitaly Klitschko that he desperately wants

This was clearly just about the money to Haye, he couldn't agree on a paydeal with the Klitchkos so has gone for a fight that would interest the British and get a good box office. I guess you can't blame him, knowing he can get paid £5m for an easy nights work. Hopefully Haye stops messing around and can make a deal with one of the Klitchko's now for his next fight.

If Haye's claim that he bet on winning in round three is true, things are worse than I thought. Barely a punch was thrown in the first two rounds then Haye finished him off far too easily in the third.
A mismatch is bad enough. Fixing a game to end in a certain round, if that is indeed what happened, is another matter altogether
Whitley Mag
Nov 15 2010, 12:21 PM
Frankly, if a boxer is able to predict a round that he was going to win in and be confident enough to put money on it, then it just goes to show how much of a mismatch it really was.
Boxing, a farce? ppfffffttt.
