With two up front Roberts would fill the same role as Heskey does for England, using his strength and power to hold up the ball and laying off it for his strike partner.

I dont think Beckford is particularly better than anything we currently have. Add to that the fact he had the chance to sign in January and apparently didnt fancy it then im happy to steer well clear of an unproven player who has a reputation for having an attitude problem.

Really hope Vuckic stays and gets a chance. From what ive heard about him hes a special talent with bags of potential - a very long time since anything like that came through the youth team (and i know before anyone starts he hasnt technically come through the youth team in the sense that we bought him in )
