Good draw for Dundalk and Bohs. The rest of the Irish teams have hard draws.
Of all of them, I think Cliftonville and Fingal have by far the harder draws, especially the latter who have to play one of Portugal's better mid-table teams. Portadown could also struggle against Skonto Riga. Shamrock will also have a toughie if the Israelis get through
Dundalk should be OK against Grevenmacher, Motherwell should walk their tie and Bohemians I think have got the best draw of the lot against the Welsh and with them in the champions section, they have a good chance of reaching at best the final round.
Also a couple of ties you missed out Nav from 1st round qualifying in the europa league, both involving Welsh teams
Turun Palloseura (FIN) ........ v ........
Port Talbot TownWinners play Cercle Brugge (BEL)
Llanelli ........ v ........ Tauras Taurage (LIT)
Winners play APOEL Nicosia (CYP)
Plus if Glentoran beat KR, they'll play Karpaty Lviv from the Ukraine and Portadown will play the winners of the tie between Qarabag (Azerbaijan) and Metalurg Skopje (Macedonia) if they get past Skonto Riga

Poor enough night for the Irish teams.
TBH I dont think much was expected of them with all 3 playing strong opposition but Fingal have plenty to be proud of in taking a 1 goal deficit and 2 away goals back to the home leg from Portugal, I hear that MAritimo managed to win it 5 minutes into injurry time too, great effort.
Best result of the night though has to go to Bangor, brilliant for them to go to Finland and get a draw

Fingal will be disappointed not to at least get a draw in that one. All to play for.
Shamrock Rovers were the better team against Bnei Yehuda. they scored againstt the run of play and Rovers missed a lot of chances. Needed a 90th minute winner to get the draw.
Dundalk's result was embarrassing. They are missing a lot of players through injury including their two 1st choice centre backs. Their keeper only had 1 training session under his belt returning from a foot injury. Still, a very disappointing result.
Well done to Cliftonville. Very good result.

Aye well done to Shamrock Rovers. Israel's League is light years ahead of ours so that is a top notch result. To go to Israel and get a win is tough for any team. Juventus next. Comparing their squads is just scary.

Hard luck for Sporting Fingal. The two sloppy goals in Portugal cost them.
Dundalk are also out, but that tie was well and truly over anyway.
Overall, a shite campaign for League of Ireland teams. To have only one team left at this stage is disappointing. The Bohs result has set the League back years.

Shut it man. That victory will go down as one of Juventus' greatest upsets.

Rovers simply outclassed. They nor do any Irish team do not have the calibre of players like Diego, Amauri or Martinez.
They gave them a good game though, and were unlucky not to score.

Crucial night for Celtic, 3-0 down after the 1st leg to Braga, needing to put pressure on early...
...but all that hope is gone now, 1-0 down on the night, 4-0 on aggregate, they need FIVE goals in the 2nd half to save themselves. Which is not likely as Braga reportedly could and should have had more than that 1-0 lead.

I think they heavily underestimated Braga, you dont finish 2nd in your league and during that take 6 points off Sporting Lisbon and expect to be taken lightly.
Hooper's pulled one back for them but plain and simple, they fecked up and arguably just proves what a pathetic state scottish domestic football is in (if they didnt know it before now).

Not so sure they underestimated Braga as such I just think Celtic (and Rangers for that matter) are shite.
