Got rid of the fucking thieving bastards a while back now and got a FreeSat box (after cunty SKY said that I could not use their existing dish and wiring..........lying cunts) and got BT vision aswell. For £14 a month (or there abouts), got shit loads of tele, a hard drive recorder thingy for TV over 40 new films every week and Satanta (now ESPN). It now seems for an extra £6.99 per month (with much bollox SKY Lawyers trying to block the deal) I can have Sky Sport 1 and 2.

Bout time those monoply-fecking-retards stopped getting all there own way.

Im on Virgin media and get the Sky Sports package with them, but I hear they're having to pay Sky a crock fo gold for the privilege and its close to bankrupting them.

I only watch it for the footy and their Indycar coverage though, nowt else, and plus I find the much cheaper offerings from British Eurosport and ESPN are better anyway.

To be honest, when I forst got it, it was pretty wank. However, over the last few months it has really got its act together. the Films and music are fucking brill, getting 40 odd free films added every week means that there is something for every fucker. It now has Warner films and Sony films free alot of Film on 4 films are free and again, are added to/changed every week. the recording of TV/ series is a piece of pish. they also have "box" sets of series......tis great to watch an entire series of a neet with nee adverts.

At the time was a little pissed off I got it and was gonna cancel. Now though, even without the addition of Sky sports, I am glad I kept it. smile.gif

Well I don't envisage us getting too many points from that lot. Are we getting more games than the average?

Maybe they think people will be interested in tuning in to see us getting hammered for the n-th time in the season. (n stricly less than 8. We won't get hammered by the mackems. We better fucking not.)

Another point, won't the police have something to say about us playing Sunderland at 4pm? It's usual for us to play them at lunchtime so people don't get totally pissed and start fights.

It's not just those out to get pissed though - it takes a certain dedication to be shitfaced before 12, whereas the general public will be pissed by 4pm without even trying and that just adds to the trouble.

It's a very sensible thing to do.

Only Sky Digital customers can get Sky Sports in HD, VM and BT only get the standard feed.

Virgin Media customers though can get ESPN and British Eurosport 1 in HD.
