At least he lasted a bit longer than his 33 days at Man City although he did manage 6 games while he was there.

My initial thought was that the chairmen must have been bringing players in (James) behind his back and dictating that they play.

Reading the whole article though, that doesn't seem the case.

But it is odd they have brought in a new manager almost immediately and not on a temoprary basis

Aye thats what I thought but by the sounds of it I think he has just decided that he cant be arsed any more with management.
