Lovenkrands and Guthrie back. Campbell still not ready.

Villa have started with their reserves tonight, so first team will still be fresh on Sunday.

Probably will be unchanged line up. Maybe Lovenkrands coming in for Barton or Smith and going more 4-4-2.

Yup. Comfortably our best XI, if we actually intend to win a match.

On the plus side, we are comfortably ahead in the managerial department, ie we've got one.

Kind of.

Cant see Nolan being dropped so I think we'll be going in with this

Harper
Perch - Williamson - Coloccini - Enrique
Routledge - Nolan - Barton - Gutierrez
Carroll - Lovenkrands

I just have this vision of Nolan lumbering about, getting completely outstripped in the middle of the park, offering nothing more than the odd heavy challenge and far too often wandering up to their penalty box. Or is that unfair?

great half.

Lookled nervy and got lucky in the first 10. Harper stupidly gave away a pen, but luckily Carew ballooned it and after that we got going. Beuty from Barton. Great team goal for Nolan's and fell nicely for Carroll's.

Barton has been brilliant in the middle, as has Smith and Nolan. Williamson again looks brilliant - reads the game so well, but looks a touch dodgey on the ball. Perch looks much better too.

We're playing much too high against A.Young which I think will get punished soon.
GreekGeordie.
Jose has been mint, Downing and albitghtin(?) have not had a sniff in.

Agree with most of that although not sold on Perch yet. Routledge really needs to sort his crossing out! sad.gif
